    Loved the first book and this exceeded expectations. Think everyone should have to read it just for a slight reality check on expectations of GP's and the NHS. Laughed out loud at many stories but never once felt like the patients were being mocked. What a fantastic book, thank you for sharing your stories.

    This book is one of the most engaging, case-focused and honest accounts of primary care I have ever read. You are given a true sense of what it's like to be practicing in a field of medicine that exists primarily to manage the great expectations of the worried-well on the one hand and identify those elusive, serious pathologies on the other. General Practice is literally medical Russian roulette played out 43 times a day, every day and the authors gives you a very personal and humorous account of how he plays the game. Please write more.

    Having worked in the NHS years ago I purchased the first booked & loved it many of the stories had me in fits of laughter. As son as I found out from a friend this second book had been written I had to get it & loved it from start to finish. Having recently come out of hospital & having problems from the surgery it cheered me up no end . They do say laughter is the best medicine
