    As an insight to how our NHS works and treats Mr and Mrs average this book is an excellent page turning exercise. I can see many of the actions and attitudes in my own G P portrayed in the writings of Ben I admire the Honesty of his writing and the openness of the disclosures in how a practice operates. As an 85 year old with the thoughtful administration of my own GP and at times criticised hospital services to thank for keeping me well past the 3 score and ten I recommend this book.

    Anyone whom has ever worked within the medical profession will find a situation they can relate to and smile at within this book. I am a slow reader but the book is written in such a way that you can pick it up and put it down anytime. How many of us working in hospital, pharmacy, clinics, surgeries have said at some point 'we should write a book about our encounters?!' Well Benjamin Daniels has and it's brilliantly heart warming, funny and true to life.
